Agnes D. Psonak Iacono, Age 79

Agnes D. Psonak Iacono, 79, of Linwood, died on Monday, January 30, 2012 at home. She was born in Sellersville, Pa on February 6, 1932 to Theodore and Victoria Psonak. She was reared and educated in the Brookhaven area. Agnes was a graduate of Nether Providence High School with the class of 1950. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Beam Buick dealership in Media, Pa.

Agnes was a longtime member of Holy Saviour Church in Linwood where she volunteered for over 50 years in various capacities in both the church and school and was affectionately known as the milk and pretzel lady. She had also been a dedicated member of the church choir for many years.

She enjoyed her time as a Girl Scout leader and loved animals. What she enjoyed most, however, was time spent with her family, especially her three grandchildren. Agnes will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She will always be remembered for countless hours spent in her continuous caring and concern for others.

She is predeceased by her husband, John Iacono, who died in 2006; Sister, Mary Jankowski; Brothers, Albert and John Psonak; Son-in-Law, Gregg Younkman. She is survived by four Daughters, Shirl Younkman of West Chester, Cynthia Iacono of Linwood, Michele Iacono Poe (Ace) of West Chester and Karen Hevalow (J. David) of Wilmington, De; Sisters, Rose Kryszan and Vera Smith; 3 Grandchildren, Eli, James and Vivian Hevalow.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, February 4 at Holy Saviour Church in Linwood, Pa. Friends and family are invited to call at the church from 8:30am-10am. Entombment will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
