She was a clerk for her father at Wolfe's General Store in Linwood until her father's passing in 1959 at which time she and her brother assumed ownership of the business and operated it until 1977. After that she went to work for her sister at her gift shop in Linwood until 1986.

She was voted Business Woman of the year in the 1960's and also enjoyed traveling around the world. Most importantly she was a woman who devoted her life to her home and family.

Wife of the late Martin J. Lauginiger who died in 1988. She was also predeceased by five brothers Arthur, Harper, Charles, Howard and William and five sisters Estella, Ethel, Helen, Mary and Bertha. She is survived by two daughters Edna Murphy of Wilmington, DE and Ruth Luongo of Linwood. Many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Her funeral service will be 11am Wednesday at the Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood where there will be calling from 10 to 11. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery Linwood.
