  1. Dear Uncle Nicky, Averi, Brent and grandchildren (Caleb and AJ come to mind but I know there are more of you),

My heart breaks for you all and I hold you in my mind and heart today and in the days ahead. Aunt Dana (I feel truly honored to have known her as Aunt) was the most beautiful person I have ever met. I cannot think of her without realising and feeling her kindness and seeing her smile. I have so many happy memories of times spent in her company and I am grateful to have those memories. But it hurts that my trip back home was cancelled last summer and I won’t get one more memory this coming summer either. She truly was an angel on Earth.

I send lots of love to you all and keep you in my prayers. I know she’ll be hugging Aunt Mil and Honey and looking down on you all.

    Love, Amanda

  4. We’ll always remember that special smile, the twinkle in your eye, the easy laughter and quick wit you always had. The warm embrace you always gave us, you always being there for us, no matter what. We will always remember you, and we will always remember the love we have for you. But that can’t compare to how much Nick, Avery, Brent, and her beloved grandchildren must miss her. Dana was such a special person.

  7. I thought of you with love today. But that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday…and the day before that too. I think of you in silence. I often speak your name. All I have are memories. And your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake. With which I’ll never part. God has you in his keeping. I have you in my heart. I miss you so much. I love you mommy dearest.

  8. Dana was such an exceptional person. She was always kind and generous with the most uplifting and beautiful smile. Always sweet and caring.
I feel God has another Angel to watch over all of her love ones.
She will be truly missed. It was an honor to call her my friend.
May God watch over Nick and give him strength to carry him through this difficult time. Our prayers are with the whole family.
