    Dearest Dave,
The world will never be the same now that you are gone.
There is this huge empty space where you used to be.
You gave so much to so many.
I will forever treasure our friendship.
My heart is broken knowing that I said my last farewell to you when you were buried. 💔
Love you ever so much, Carol Herman

So many lives impacted, each hall way, picture drawn and simple, caring conversation with every student and person you spoke with! What a great loss to our community. My Uncle Stevie loved you I hope you get to see him up there. God bless your family ❤️

After the first sad days after Daves passing,I started to be able to smile a little, thinking of Daves heavenly reunions with family and friends that had passed before him.As everybody knows,Dave had friends from a greatly diverse group of people, alot of whom can be referred to as ” real characters”.I know I speak for many when I say rest easy my friend.

To one of the nicest, kindness, respectful person you would ever meet.
I was fortunate enough to know Dave (Heads) growing up in Trainer from
little league through High School and after. I know if I was having a bad day
I could cruise to 3rd street and find Dave and a couple of his friends put some good music on and ride around. But most of all Dave to taught me friendship. You will be missed.

Our Deepest Sympathy to Dave’s family. Growing up Dave (Heads) was ALWAYS at our house, almost every day and night, best friends with my brother, John and friends with my brothers Dave & Ed too. My mother & stepfather loved him, he went on alot of our summer vacations with us down the Chesapeake. He is in most all of my memories of the good times growing up. I can remember like it was yesterday, waking up & going downstairs and he would be at the kitchen table with my mother (Rita) having tea & toast with her, I always thought that was so funny. He was always a good person and I know there is a special place in heaven for him. We love you Dave (Heads) RIP

Growing up I thought Dave (Heads) was my brother from another mother, he was ALWAYS at my families house, best friends with my brother John Friel & my brothers David & Ed. He went on a lot of our family vacations with us. He also was best man at Dumps wedding (another bro from another mother). My fav. memory though is waking up to Heads in the kitchen having tea & toast w/my mother Rita & our stepfather. Heads will always be in most of my best memories of us all growing up together. Always was a good person & I know there is a special place for him in heaven. We love you. RIP Dave
