Donald W. Peer, Sr., 61, of Upper Chichester passed away on Saturday, May 21st at Lankenau Hospital. He was born in Chester to the late Robert Peer and Theresa Rubino. Donald was raised and educated in Linwood. He worked as a manager in several fast-food restaurants throughout the years. Donald will be remembered as a very social person. He loved to talk and interact with people. He was also a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, and a former member of the Lower Chichester Fire Company. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his children.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Denise DiPretore; son, Jacob Hastings, brother, Joseph Peer. He is survived by his children, Donald Peer, Jr., Britney Spinelli, Christopher Peer, Austin DiPretore, Crystal Peer, Colton Peer, and Audrey Peer; 9 grandchildren; brother, Robert Peer; uncle, Joe Rubino
His funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 26th at 5pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 4-5pm. Burial will be private.
So sorry to hear about this, he always made me laugh!I will miss seeing him driving around linwood and beeping and waving.

We are so sad to hear this. Donald was such a blessing to have as a life long friend. He could always make you laugh. I don’t think we ever saw Donald have a bad day. He was such a kind, caring soul. Our thoughts are with his children, grandchildren and the rest of his family and friends. May he rest easy.
I ask for prayers for the entire Peer family. God will put his loving arms around them during this sad time. God bless you all !!
