Donna A. Cianchetta Stringer, 65, of Boothwyn died Sunday, February 7th at home surrounded by family following a long, arduous battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia to Franklin and Joan Rively Cianchetta. She was reared in North Cape May, New Jersey and attended Lower Cape May Regional High School. Donna lived the last 40 years in Boothwyn. She was a school bus driver for the Chichester School District for 15 years before retiring in 2013.
Donna’s favorite activity was spending time with her family especially her children and grandchildren. She was completely selfless and devoted to serving God and her family and friends. Donna was precious to so many people. She had a way about her that made you feel special and loved. She made a friend wherever she went and genuinely cared for each person. Donna was unbelievably kind and generous and she will be sadly and deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Donna is preceded in death by mother Joan and father Franklin and siblings Franklin (Buddy) Cianchetta and Joan (Cookie) Cianchetta Russell.
Donna is survived by her husband of 41 years, Elwood (Woody) Stringer and 5 children and their spouses, Marshall (Buzz) and Tara Busby, Daniel and Stacey Stringer, Donna and Mike Hubert, Tim Stringer, and Jim and Marie Stringer along with 16 adoring grandchildren. Donna is also survived by siblings Lisa Simmers and Ronald Cianchetta, niece, Bree Simmers and dearest friend, Margie Johnson. Her funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 15 at 10:30am at St. John Fisher Church 4225 Chichester Ave. Boothwyn,Pa. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 9:30-10:30 in church. Burial will be private.

So sadden to hear of Donnas passing. Donna always made me laugh and you could always count on the truth when asking her opinion. My prayers and thoughts are with her family
So sorry we cannot travel with the forecast to be there to support you all and pay respect to one of the kindest most loving talented family oriented persons I know. Donna has been around for me as long as Aunt Margie and we love her dearly and have many cherished memories….there was always laughter and love and many special keepsakes filled with perfect details!

No words to say beyond, you are one of the best Sister-In-Law anyone could ask for. You truly will be missed tremendously..You Left many memories with me that I will store in my heart.. God bless you girl, you are one of the best.
