Passed away on February 19, at Riddle Memorial Hospital.

Born June 19, 1921 in Chester PA, Mrs. Bunzel Lived in Upper Chichester for 45 years then moved to Lower Chichester with her daughter Janet (Murphy-Johnson) her husband Jim and granddaughter for the past 10 years.

Mrs. Bunzel was the daughter of the late Eleanor and William Kryka. Mrs. Bunzel graduated from Chester High School, and after the death of her husband, went on to nursing school graduating in 1971. Working at Sacred Heart Hospital and Delaware County Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1985, continuing to do private duty care until 1989.

Libby enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and loved traveling, especially taking cruises. Libby attended the Claymont Senior Center everyday until she lost her ability to drive. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chester Chapter and the American Legion Post 951.

Libby was preceded in death by her husband John, who passed away in 1969. A brother; William Kryka, (Helen) and sister; Jane Rossi.

Survivors: Daughter Janet Murphy Johnson, (Jim) of Lower Chichester, a brother Fred Kryka (Phil) from Aston. Grandchildren ;Tracy, Melissa, and Jessica. 3 great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be 11am Wednesday at the Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St. Linwood, where there will be calling from 10 to 11. Burial will be private.
