  7. I’m so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Sacred Heart was my first job out of nursing school, and Joan welcomed me with open arms and that infectious laugh! Her retirement party was so fun! Little did I know nursing wouldn’t always be that way. She could deliver a baby as well as any doctor! Even though I didn’t get the benefits of her wisdom for very long, I hope that I still carry it with me today in the labor room at Delaware County Hospital. I’m so glad she got to enjoy her retirement with her precious family! May she Rest In Peace with the angels, because she certainly was one here on Earth!

I’m so sorry we never responded to this, I did not even think about it, you know. It does seem like just yesterday that we were hanging in chester. The only time you did not get chased out of the house is when my dad fell and we needed you to lift him. We have great childhood memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thanks for always being there for me and thanks for calling us special. Love you to, The Youngs, JoClaire
