  13. This is a beautiful tribute to your spouse, mother, daughter, sister, and dear friend to many. It’s been an honor and a privilege to call Karen my friend for the past 42 years. She’s given us so many wonderful memories. I loved Karen and I will miss her terribly. She touched so many lives. The last time I saw Karen was on Martin Luther King Day. I’m so grateful for that final memory. One last hug, one final goodbye. We laughed and talked about the memories of our youth. Karen knew me better than most. She was the last link to my past. Words cannot begin to describe the magnitude of her loss. My deepest condolences to Karen’s family. Thank you for your kindness, your loyal friendship, and most of all, just for being you. I love you Slice.
