Lorette F. Johns – 7/11/2020

Lorette F. Johns, 71, of Aston, PA passed away on July 11th in the comfort of her home surrounded by love. She was born in Philadelphia to the late, Louis and Frances Zieja. Lorette was a graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School. She spent her early life raising her children and providing an amazing, loving home; her later life was spent in service of animals and people. She had a huge love for her many pets. Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life and her pride and joy.
She is survived by her children, Jennifer Kraine, and Eric Johns; grandchildren, Tyler and Benjamin; brother, Louis Zieja; nephew and niece, Louis and Laura.
Her memorial service will be held on Friday, July 17th at 7pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 6-7pm. Burial will be private.

  1. Jennifer and Eric, I have never met you, but I knew your mom from my appointments with Dr. Rizzo. She was always so nice to me and accommodating. I just learned today, 1/20/21 that she passed. To say the least I will miss her dearly. That office will not be the same without her. God bless you.

  7. Jennifer and Eric my heart is breaking with the news of your Mom’s passing. She had a heart that excepted everyone, I was lucky enough to be one of those people. I learned alot from her she was such a giving and loving soul. My life is better for having known her unconditional love. Your mom will live on through her children and grandchildren. She will forever have a special place in my heart.

Your mom loved her family, but her animals always held a special place in her heart. She thought me how to be a cat person. May she rest in peace.

  14. My deepest sympathy to Lorette’s entire family. She has been a faithful friend to me and members of my family who came to know her. She has been an incredible professional as an ophthalmic tech. Many of her patients will miss her.
