Lucy A. Stencler – 9/5/2018

Lucy A. Stencler, 54, of Upper Chichester passed away on Wednesday, September 5th at her home.  She was born in Philadelphia to the late David and Mary Mitchell.  She was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School.  Lucy enjoyed playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, and baking.  What she enjoyed most, however, was spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Daniel Mitchell. She is survived by her husband, Edward Stencler; son, Edward Stencler II; brothers, Dennis and David Mitchell.  Her funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 11th at 10:30am at St. John Fisher Church 4225 Chichester Ave. Boothwyn, Pa.  Friends and family are invited to call from 9:30-10:30am in church. Burial will be private.

  3. Edward, Edward, David & Dennis – so sorry to hear of your loss. Lucy was a beloved member of the Evans’ extended family and one of the first to welcome me many years ago. We will remember her fondly.

  4. I may not have seen you since high school, I remember you like it was yesterday. Your mom driving me home because we got so drunk at your birthday party. You were the brightest star!! God Bless You in your journey onward!! We WILL meet again!!!
