Michael J. Murphy – 10/2/2019

Michael J. Murphy (Murph) passed suddenly on Wednesday, October 2nd at the age of 63.  He will be forever missed by his family.  Michael was a long-time resident of Aston, PA.  He spent all of his adult life in the food sector and was well known in the restaurant community.

He is survived by his daughter, Alexa Murphy; brothers, James (Michelle) Murphy, Kevin (Lisa) Murphy, and Patrick (Sheryl) Murphy. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.

His memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at 11:30am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA.  Friends and family are invited to call from 10:30-11:30am at the funeral home.  Inurnment will follow in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.

  1. Just found this today, so sorry to hear fo his loss. Murph and i worked together at the Crier in Country in Glen Mills. We had some great times and worked our butts off. Played lots of pool at Your Alibi. Hope i get to see you upstairs.

Mike I can remember growing up it looked like a Used car lot out front of the house on Greenbriar Mikes Pride and Joy the Trans Am White and Blue We Had are Fun times and we had are Sad times also But Brother Mike Seeing you lay in that Hospital was Heartbreaking for all of Us not Being able to talk or Move anything on the right Side not being able to help you was a Heartbreak for Me My Brother And Kevin And Lisa where there to the End You had a Angel Caring for you Lisa was her Name Kevin Loved you Very Much Patrick And Sherry prayed for you and loved you Very Much we where all there for you Brother Mike RIP
