Robert V. Scheivert, Jr. – 4/1/2022

Robert V. Scheivert, Jr. , 56, of Upper Chichester passed away on Friday, April 1st at Crozer Chester Medical Center surrounded by family.  He was born in Philadelphia to Robert V. Scheivert Sr and Jo Ann Krchnar.  He was raised and educated in Aston where he graduated from Sun Valley High School in 1983.  He then went on to become a master plumber and worked for JDB Plumbing and heating in Media.

Robert was an avid Eagles and Penn State football fan.  He liked to shoot darts and throw horse shoes.  He enjoyed coaching his sons in both Football and wrestling.  He loved to support his daughter in volleyball as well.  Most of all, he enjoyed being a dad and spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Raymond & Marjorie Scheivert, Joseph & Lois Krchnar; step-father, Carmine D’Ambrosio.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Susan Gallo Scheivert; sons, Robert “Bobby” Scheivert (Holly) and Chase Scheivert; daughter, Ryley Scheivert; granddaughter, Parker Scheivert; parents, Jo Ann D’Ambrosio and Robert V. Scheivert Sr. (Eileen); sisters, Megan Bailey (Sean) and Audra Peterson (Todd); and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, April 8th at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA.  Friends and family are invited to his viewing on Thursday evening, April 7th from 6-8pm and again on Friday morning from 10-11am.  Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
