Shirley V. Lamplugh -2/28/2023

Shirley V. Lamplugh, 85, of Garnet Valley passed away on Tuesday, February 28th at her home.  She was born in Chester to the late Arthur and Mary Smith.  She was raised and educated in Boothwyn and was a graduate of Chichester High School. For over 20 years, Shirley worked at Grant’s Department Store and continued on with them when they became K-Mart.  Shirley enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Lamplugh(2018); granddaughter, Bobbi-Jo Lamplugh.  She is survived by her sons, Robert Lamplugh (Evelyn) and Mark Lamplugh (Michelle); sisters, Sandy, Gloria, and Elsie; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.  Friends and family are invited to her funeral service on Monday, March 6th at 12pm graveside at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.

    Always enjoyed you mom’s company at the different Lamplugh celebrations that we were honored to attend. Shirley lived a full life and was surround by a great big family who loved her.
