Stanley J. Haschak, 89, formerly of Boothwyn passed away on Thursday, May 17th at Twin Pines Nursing Home in West Grove, PA. He was born in Chester to the late Elias and Mary Haschak. He graduated from Chester High School with the class of 1947. Stanley worked as a painter for DuPont for many years until his retirement. He was a sports enthusiast, most especially an avid fan of the Eagles. He was an all-Delco football player at Chester High School. He enjoyed doing construction work and handy-man projects. He also enjoyed spending time at the beach. He was a member of the Upper Chichester Senior Citizens group as well as both Holy Saviour and St. John Fisher Churches.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Haschak (1996); siblings, Joseph, Antonia, Blanch, Hank, and Justin. He is survived by his children, Karen Fusca (Vincent), and Michael Haschak (Karl Schappell); grandchildren, Robert Pauly, Jr. and Kelly Pauly, Andrew and Nichole Fusca.
His funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 26th at 10am at St. John Fisher Church 4225 Chichester Ave. Boothwyn, Pa. Friends and family are invited to call from 9-10am in church. Inurnment will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
