Thomas J. Coyle, ” Tom” 80 of Chichester, PA died December 4, 2017 at Fair Acres Geriatric Facility. Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Joseph Coyle and Mary (Grace) Coyle. Tom was raised in Chester, PA, graduated from Chester High School class 1955, and was a resident of Chichester for 50 years. Tom loved the outdoors was an avid hunter and fisherman, spending his entire life pursuing everything from small game to white tail deer in several states. Tom was a member of the Tall Pines Hunting Club, a former member of Delaware County Field and Stream, and current member of Atglen, PA Gun Club. The most enjoyable time was spent with his dear friend Joe Walker and family in Lewes, De fishing for flounder in the Delaware Bay and on Atlantic Ocean structure. Tom was passionate about archery preferring later in life to hunt with a bow and to impart his knowledge to new shooters. Tom was a selfless person, with a compassionate heart that would always help someone in need. Tom worked for the Westinghouse Corporation and Kimberly Clark in the maintenance department before retiring in 2004.
Predeceased by his father Joseph Coyle, his mother Mary (Grace) Coyle, and sibling Joseph Coyle. Survived by brother Lawrence Coyle, sister Marie ( Coyle) Doyle, his loving wife Mary (McLaughlin) Coyle, children Thomas J. Coyle, Jr. spouse Patricia, Kevin V. Coyle, his spouse Tina Bouchard, Maureen (Coyle) Fredricks her husband Steve, grandchildren Kristin Bouchard, Michael Diehl, Mackenzie Fredericks, Connor Coyle, and Brett Coyle.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, December 8 at 9:30 AM at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market Street Linwood, PA, a memorial service will be begin at 10:30 am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home followed immediately by internment at Lawn Croft Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Fair Acres Geriatric Facility Building 6 Floor 1 for the compassionate and professional care provided during Tom’s residency. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association( Alz.org), and Heartland Hospice of Chads Ford.
