Barbara A. Stewart – 10/16/2022

Barbara A. Stewart, 76, of Upper Chichester passed away on October 16th, 2022.  She was born in Chester to the late Harry and Helen Yohe.  She was raised and educated in Linwood where she was a graduate of Chichester High School.  She worked for many years for J.W. Pepper music publishing company.  Barbara was a member of the Red Hatters and a long-time member of Covenant Fellowship Church in Glen Mills where she was involved in many ministries.  What she enjoyed most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Barbara was predeceased by her siblings, Shirley Perkins, Harry Yohe, and John “Butch” Yohe.  She is survived by her husband, Elmer Stewart; children, John, Mark, and Bronson Lamplugh, Scott Stewart, Shelly Smith, Shannon Koszalinski, and Chrissy Stewart; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; nieces Roberta Krause and Diane Perkins who cared for her, along with many other nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 26th at 12pm at Covenant Fellowship Church 1 Fellowship Dr. Glen Mills, PA.  Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 10:30am-12pm in Church.  Burial will be private.

  1. Aunt Barb you will be missed.. you always listened and helped ne to move forward when things were tuff… I will forever hold you in my thoughts and prayers… I send my deepest condolences and prayers to the family…

  2. Sincere condolences to the family. Barb and I went to Chichester High School together, and in later years shared good times and good friends in the Red Hatters and Chi Chicks social clubs. She was a warm, friendly, fun person and will be greatly missed. R.I.P., Bug.

  3. Barb was an awesome grandma to my children. They will miss her neverending love and attention and her humor and silliness. I am grateful they had her in their lives.
