August 25th, 2022

Beth A. Burdett DiNenno-Costa, 74, of Marcus Hook, passed away on Friday, August 19th at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born and raised in Marcus Hook to the late Edward (Cy) Burdett and Bertha Morrison Burdett.  Beth attended Media High School and went on to ownGlobe Beverage in Elsmere, Delaware for many years with Anthony DiNenno Jr. She also worked at the Birmingham Grill.

Beth enjoyed life to the fullest and loved celebrating holidays with her family and friends. One of Beth’s passions was listening to Michael Bublé, her favorite song was appropriately, Home.

For Beth, the more the merrier!  She loved having a full house of family and friends and enjoyed swimming, playing shuffleboard, poker, and zilch.  Many have found themselves lucky enough to sit around the kitchen table with Beth and play cards long into the night with guaranteed laughter, fun and a full pot of nickels and dimes.  In addition to her humor, wit and love of family, Beth had a big heart.  Her home was always a place where one could find a warm meal, some much needed tough love and lots of laughter.  She opened her home and heart to many over the years.
