Mr. Robert E. Hoffert, 79, died Friday, March 1st at Chester Co. Hosp., West Chester. He was born in Allentown, where he was reared and educated and has lived in Chichester for the last 40 years. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam period. He worked in the maintenance department of Benchmark Management Co. in Media for 40 years. He retired 5 years ago. He liked to Bowl and take cruises. Bob enjoyed tinkering and attacking any task at hand, he was always up to the challenge. He had a real soft spot for his dogs but what he enjoyed the most was time spent with his Granddaughter and Great Grandson.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife Nancy A. Hoffert; Two sisters, Barbara Hoffert and Carol Gilbert; His brother Charles Hoffert; His daughter Toni Hoffert Snow and his son Robert E. Hoffert III.
He is survived by one daughter Terry Snyder, with whom Bob made his home in Linwood; One brother Elroy Hoffert; Granddaughter Bianca Hoffert, Great Grandson Weston Aubry, Great Grandson James Aubry, and Great Granddaughter Emma Aubry.
His memorial service will be 11 am Saturday, March 16th at the Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA with calling from 10 to 11 am. Burial will be private.
Dad I know you are no longer in pain, but you are missed. So quite without you and Sandy misses her cuddle partner.
Sorry for your loss. I had many good laughs with Bob and Nancy on the back porch at Donna and Woody house. All are in my prayers
