Sis Schiliro – 1/17/2023

Sis Schiliro, 74, of Marcus hook Passed away on Tuesday, January 17th at Lankenau Hospital.  She was born in Linwood to the late Walter and Nellie Caber.  Sis was a long-time resident of Marcus Hook.  She was a graduate of the Chichester School District.  Sis enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.  What she loved more than anything was spending time with and caring for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, James Schiliro; sister, Nancy McBride; brothers, Anthony Palmer and William Caber.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Charles Schiliro; daughter, Lisa Repine; sisters, Mary Ellen Connelly. Kimberly Resnick, and Lisa Delahut; brothers, George Lockett, Douglas Lockett, Walter Caber, Leonard Palmer, and Mark Palmer; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 21st at 10:30am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA.  Friends and family are invited for visitation from 9-10:30am.  Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.  Donations in her name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at Donate now to St. Jude and help kids fighting cancer – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org)

    Sis was the greatest, most loving and caring sister that anyone could possibly have.
    Although many miles we have always been close.
    Sis, you will be severely missed but you will always be in our hearts.
