Robert J. Curl, III – 5/15/2018

Robert J.” Bobby” Curl, III, age 44, of Boothwyn passed away on Tuesday, May 15 at Crozer Chester Medical Center.  He was raised and educated in Boothwyn and was a graduate of Chichester High School with the class of 1993.  He was a loving and devoted son, brother and uncle.  Bobby loved to play pool and was an avid reader.  He also spent time volunteering at the Providence House in Chester, PA.

He is survived by his parents, Robert J. Curl, Jr. and Susan Hockenbury Curl; Sister, Heather Sitaras (Shawn); Niece Cassie; maternal grandfather, Leroy Hockenbury; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

His funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 21st at 11am at St. John Fisher Church 4225 Chichester Ave. Boothwyn, PA.  Friends and family are invited to his viewing on Sunday evening from 6-8pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, Pa, and again on Monday morning from 10am-11am in church.  Burial will be private. He was a sweet, kind, generous guy he took me to my prom,i had no one to go with, what tells you that.sweet ,kind,generous,laughable person.he would tellmeon how to shoot pol at the pool hall on chichester avenue, next to the high school.i coukdnt do what he did at pool.he always had his secrets.i would meet him at the pool halls.he would tell jokes.bob,steve,dunnarie,my niece,i we all went to great adventure, we all had a blast.I’m glad bob went with us.I couldn’t express myself.his dad would pick me up from my parents house, he told his dad to stop at the Wawa,bobbie bought me 5 roses, it was heart.he knows all the pool places around.I remember Christmas or way before that we would walk around hook, look at the Christmas lights.it was awesome.then he would take me over his grandsons house to introduce me to her.bob is a young guy.he even helped me when I was in my bad situation,i lived with him, his friends in hook.now that’s a friend for life.he would do anything for me.I knew on how much he cared for me.bobby you will be missed.i also remember you had asked me to go with youwhen your parents renewed there vows mi enjoyed that.we would play cards I didn’t know how to play.he would come visit me in the hospital when I had my appendix out.he walked my mom out to her car.then he cane back in fir a while to see me.that’s what Bobbie was.you will be missed, friends families.r,i.p bob.hugs,love

    I grew up with Bobby in the Village in hook and sadly it took a tragedy like to made me remember all the good times we had being kids.
